Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality mental health care to patients in an inpatient and/or outpatient behavioral health setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for individuals experiencing psychiatric and emotional disorders while ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health and physical assessments

• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans

• Administer and monitor psychiatric medications and treatments

• Observe, document, and report changes in patient behavior and condition

• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed

• Support patients with coping strategies and therapeutic communication

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams

• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and medications

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance with policies

• Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive care environment
